Eid-ul-Azha being celebrated with religious fervour

Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated today (Saturday) in commemoration of the supreme sacrifice offered by Hazrat Ibrahim Khalilullah and his son Hazrat Ismail Zabiullah in fulfillment of the Divine order.
Eid prayers were offered at Eidgahs‚ central Mosques and open places across the country.
Special prayers were offered for the prosperity of the country and unity among the Muslim Ummah.
It is being followed by offering sacrifices of animals by the faithful in accordance with the Sunnah Ibrahimi.
The main Eid congregation in the federal capital was held at the Faisal Mosque.
In Lahore‚ the main Eid congregation was held at Badshahi mosque.
