KARACHI:
Pakistan’s top cueist Mohammad Asif and second-ranked Asjad Iqbal left for the UAE to take part in the Dubai International Open in which players from 16 countries are taking part.
The event will serve as good preparation as the two players are scheduled to take part in the IBSF World Championship to be held in Bulgaria.
Asif was hopeful of giving his best in Dubai as he eyed improvement at the international level. “I’ve been doing well at the national level but now my aim is to do well in international events,” Asif told The Express Tribune. “I have a chance to rectify my mistakes and I want to make sure that my game is at its peak.”
